Farmwood
Over the years we have seen an upturn in clients demanding more reclaimed farm wood. With this high demand, and the increase in cost, we decided to create our own.
We have taken new woods such as southern yellow pine, oak, hickory, etc... distressed it and sprayed a non-chemical agent to "age" the wood. It gives the look of old reclaimed wood but without the high cost. We can produce customized colors for each client and produce a one-of-a-kind wood.
Farmwood comes unfinished for walls and ceilings.
We also can do the same technique for beams by taking new wood beams, distressing them with a special technique and making them look like they came out of an old barn. Solid beams are available. Notice the beams in the pic to the right!!!
Hand Hewn Timber and Mantles
From barns all over the country, we are able to provide these beautiful hand hewn beams. These beams were created by hand over 100+ years ago by the farmers and landowners who needed a barn for horses, equipment, food, etc....
These beams come in a variety of sizes and are shipped in from all over the country. You can reuse these in your own home in the ceiling, or we can cut them down to be used as a mantles. We also can recreate these beams from pine or fir. We hand hewn them ourselves and spray them with an aging spray to customize the shade of the wood...either Brown, Grey or a mix of both.
Our mantles can be cut to size to fit your project. We can cut your mantle to whatever spec you need and pricing is determined on the wood you would like, the size of it and more.
Engineered Reclaimed Wood
We have recently started to produce a line of engineered reclaimed wood. The engineered wood uses a reclaimed warelayer (top layer). Using oak or pine , we turn the wood into an engineered product that can be easily installed by floating, nailing or glueing it. And because it comes prefinished there is no sanding or finishing involved after the install.
Furniture and more
We have used master wood craftsmen to create beautiful pieces of furniture for your home. Tables, doors, headboards and more. Each one is handcrafted to each customer's specifications. We work with each client to help build a product that they have imagined but don't have the capability to build. We will work step by step to insure the quality and design is exactly what they want.
Brick Paver
The reclaimed brick are recovered from old abandoned textile mills. These solid brick are 80+ and older. The brick come in a variety of colors and are used for fireplaces, sidewalk pavers or even to build whole homes. These brick come with a great history behind them and this story can be told to you for a great conversational piece . These brick come solid or cored (three holes). Barnwood
Our Reclaimed barnwood is shipped in from all over the country. We recover the wood from these barns and use the wood for wallboard, furniture, flooring and more. The grey and brown patina makes beautiful color variations for a wall or many other creative things.The barnwood typically comes mixed species (pine, oak, poplar, etc.). We also offer the boards with the faded paint which add colors and dimensions to wall applications.
